Local nonprofit San Marcos Youth Service Bureau relocated from its space at 518 S. Guadalupe St., San Marcos, to be closer to schools and help accommodate transportation needs. The nonprofit provides free after-school and summer programs for kids ages 11-17 who are considered vulnerable youth, executive director Julie Hollar said. Kids work with mentors, practice real-world skills, work on homework and more.
