Hays County Physical Therapy and Wellness held a ribbon-cutting ceremony March 24 celebrating its joining the San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce. The business relocated to 324 Riverwalk Drive, Ste. 312, San Marcos, from Kyle at the end of 2021.

“We specialize in women’s health ... in all those topics that you don’t really want to talk about,” owner and physical therapist Nicole Laird said at the ceremony. “Our goal is to have that full-service wellness facility so that you can come [here] and it’s a one-stop shop where you feel taken care of and you can really focus on yourself and your wellness."

Laird said the clinic made the move from Kyle to have more space for all the treatments they offer.

The physical therapy treatments are catered toward women and issues such as pelvic pain, bladder issues, prenatal and postpartum treatment, but it also offers treatment to men.

In addition to physical therapy, Laird and her team also offer massages, yoga classes, and a strength and conditioning gym facility.

“We just finally settled into the building about a month ago, and we could not be more excited. ... This is kind of a dream come true for me,” Laird said.
