Buda resident Katherine Rice opened Studio Twelve.Twenty.Eight in early November at 2610 Main St., Ste. 110, Buda. Rice has worked in the hair industry for over 20 years and said she opened the salon to offer a relaxing environment for hair and body treatments such as haircuts and color, Brazilian waxes and Reiki, an alternative medicinal form of energy healing. Rice also sells hair care products from brands such as Amika and Joico in the salon.
