After continually serving and selling out of specialty burgers on Thursdays at Valentina’s TexMex BBQ in Austin, owner and chef Miguel Vidal decided to make an entirely new venture out of it and began Cash Cow Burgers Co. food truck at 1710 N. FM 1626, Buda. The food truck is on-site at the Memorial Miniature Golf & World War II Museum, though patrons don’t need to play to eat.

Cash Cow Burgers Co. had its soft opening over the long Labor Day weekend Sept. 4, though it plans to have a grand opening in November. The menu features smoked burgers slowly cooked over mesquite with different specialties. Some burgers come stuffed with cheese or a variety of toppings, such as bacon, charred tomatoes and specialty sauces, such as Mo $ Money $ sauce or its tomatillo cilantro ranch.

The menu also features a MexiDog, which is a beef frank seared and topped with caramelized onions, pico de gallo, habanero mustard and Mexican crema in a flour tortilla as well as fries topped with queso.

Cash Cow Burgers Co. is open Thursdays-Sundays rom 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and 4-6 p.m. https://www.instagram.com/cashcowburgers/?hl=en
