Nellie’s Dog Grooming, a locally owned and full-service grooming shop, opened on Dec. 16 at 1428 Old RR 12, San Marcos, near Wake The Dead Coffee House. The owner of Nellie’s Dog Grooming, Janelle Smith, previously owned a salon in Denver and has been working with animals her entire life. The grooming shop offers all-natural and hypoallergenic products. It also provides one-on-one appointments for dogs who may have special needs in the grooming process.
