The owners of Cross Plants and Produce, an independent nursery that also sold local artisanal products, announced on Facebook that they have permanently closed the shop.

“Dreams have been reached, lessons have been learned, new friendships have been established, connections made and so much good has been done through CPP,” Jennifer and Nathan Cross wrote.

The Crosses founded the shop in 2014 and have used the property to host holiday events as well as a minihorse named Shorty and a minidonkey named Spot. With the business closed, they plan to “get back to family.” www.crossplantsandproduce.com
