Three Buda businesses win 2019 Texas Downtown Association awards

The Texas Downtown Association has recognized three Buda business in its 2019 President’s Awards.

Assemblage Contemporary Craftsman Gallery, located at the Buda Mill & Grain Co. complex at 306 N. Main St., Buda, earned the People’s Choice Award for Best New Construction.


The Budaful Hiker, which recently celebrated one year in business at 122 N. Main St., Buda, by opening a second location in Wimberley, won Best Downtown Business in a city with a population under 50,000 residents.

Finally, Thatcher Natural Home Offerings, 218 N. Main St., Buda, was given the award for Best Commercial Interior overall.
