Median home prices in the San Marcos-Buda-Kyle market have risen steadily since July 2019 in all three area ZIP codes.

Data from the Austin Board of Realtors shows that in 78640, the price rose to $237,500 this July over last July’s $224,950, an increase of 5.58%. Likewise, in the 78666 ZIP code, over the same time frame, the median home price jumped 6.34%, from $253,900 to $269,995.

By far, the biggest increase was shown in the 78610 ZIP code, where the median price of a home rose from $261,600 last July to $314,500 this July, a 20.22% increase.
