The Hays County Local Health Department is set to host a back-to-school fair Aug. 15 at 401 Broadway St., Ste. A, San Marcos, with vaccinations for insured and uninsured children age 18 and under, face painting, balloon animals and games.

The event Aug. 15 will run from 8 a.m.-1 p.m., but the vaccinations will be available Aug. 15-19 from 8-11 a.m. and 1-4 p.m. All types of immunizations will be available at no cost for those who qualify.
