While the region is experiencing some much-needed rainfall, Kyle officials are still working to curb water usage with the rollout of its conservation rebate program.

What you need to know

Kyle water utility customers are eligible for the rebate program with an account in good standing, meaning residents cannot have an outstanding balance, on devices that help save water.

Eligible devices and its maximum rebate are as follows:
  • $50 for low-flow shower heads
  • $100 for low-flow toilets
  • $10 for toilet tank flapper repair or replacement kit
  • $35 faucet-mounted sprinkler timers
  • $5 for faucet aerators
Items must have been purchased after the program began Sept. 19, and residents must have the receipt included in the application.

Those interested can find the application here or on the city of Kyle website. Applications must be emailed to [email protected].
