Kyle water customers should expect to use water only for emergency needs over at least the next 24 hours due to major water line repairs, according to a press release issued July 12 by the city of Kyle.
The Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority provides a portion of the city’s water and will limit it to perform the repairs. Until the repairs are completed, the city will only utilize its groundwater supply, according to the release. An exact time frame for completing the project is unknown.
Customers are asked to limit water use or refrain from excessive water use—such as for irrigation—and questions from customers can be directed to the Kyle Public Works Department at 512-262-3024.
