Proposition A currently has 74.31% of 1,370 votes while Proposition B currently has 63.36% of 1,370 votes, both maintaining steady vote counts to pass.

As polls close on Nov. 2, voting tallies show citizens of Buda favoring both Proposition A, transportation, and Proposition B, parks and recreation, for a grand total of $89.66 million. The bond election, coined “Your Buda, Your Choice,” began in late 2020, Community Impact Newspaper previously reported.

Proposition A amounts to $73.57 million for various road and transportation projects throughout the city including reconstruction of roads, the addition of extra lanes, pedestrian and bicycle improvements and more.

With early voting results in 74.96% of voters approve Proposition A, at 500 votes.

Proposition B amounts to $16.09 million for the expansion of existing trail projects, park improvements and acquisition of land for more parks and outdoor spaces.


With early voting results in 63.21% of voters approve Proposition B, at 421 votes.
