National French Fry Day

All Sharks Burger locations will offer free fries with every order of a burger or chicken to celebrate National French Fry Day. Sharks Burger has locations in Kyle and Buda.

Beginners’ Dungeons & Dragons Summer Camp

LionHeart Hobby will host this camp for children ages 10-14 who want to learn Dungeons & Dragons and do not have any experience. The instructor will guide participants through character creation and gameplay. Snacks and drinks will be available.Stars Over Wimberley Benefit Concert

This concert is one of five that the Wimberley Valley Arts and Cultural Alliance, and the Wimberley Players will put on to support local musicians and high school scholarships. Country artists Chuck Cannon from South Carolina and Jessee Lee from Tennessee are this show’s featured artists. Seating is limited and must be reserved.

Advanced Dungeons & Dragons Summer Camp

American Veterans Post TX-104 of San Marcos will hold a plate fundraiser to help keep the Maurice T. Suttles Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3413 open. Each plate includes a serving of chicken, sausage, beans and cowboy potatoes.

Party in Your Park

The third installment of Party in Your Park will take place at Dunbar Park. Enjoy family-friendly activities, including yard games, music, refreshments and more.Back to School Luau for All Abilities Dance

The city of Kyle Parks and Recreation department will host its second Back to School Luau. There will be music, food, raffle prizes and a photo booth. Hawaiian attire is encouraged, and all abilities and ages are welcome. Registration for the event is required.Off to the Races 5K


Start the school year at Sunfield Elementary School’s third annual 5K to raise school funds. There will be a 5K run/walk followed by a kids’ dash.
