Heritage Easter Egg Hunt


Join the Heritage Association of San Marcos for an Easter egg hunt. The egg hunt is limited to children ages 2-12, and advance online registration is required. Some eggs will have raffle tickets for prizes. All ages are invited to participate in park activities, which include a live tortoise, face painting, games and prizes, food, and drinks. The city of Kyle hosts this treasure hunt in celebration of National Pi Day in the Pie Capital of Texas. The city of Kyle will share clues on its Facebook page for the community to hunt for four treasure chests hidden throughout the city. Participants can unlock the chests and follow the instructions to be entered into a raffle to win $314.

Easter Egg-stravangaza

Kyle Parks and Recreation invites the community to participate in its Easter egg hunt. Other event activities include photo ops with the Easter bunny, food, drinks, music, face painting, games and more. Multiple eggs drops are scheduled for children ages 8 months to 12 years old.April

Buda’s Birthday

Celebrate 143 years of Buda at this event with local food and merchandise vendors, live music from The Greyhounds and Shakey Graves, and more. Free parking is available at City Park.San Marcos Studio Tour


Join MotherShip Studios for a weekend full of local art. Attendees will get a look into the at-home studios and warehouse workshops of artists throughout San Marcos and Martindale. The kickoff party will have a group exhibition, drinks, food, music, live printing and raffle prizes.

Eclipse Watch Party

Suessical Jr.: The Musical

The Youth Theatre Program at The Chambers Theatre at Inspired Minds Art Center presents this show in which Dr. Seuss’ best-loved characters come together in one musical.

2024 Butterfly Festival

EmilyAnn Theatre and Gardens present the fourth annual Butterfly Festival. The festival will have butterfly releases, arts and crafts, live music, a butterfly flight house, concessions, a butterfly train, and more.
