The Tiki Bar Lanikai Lounge in San Marcos is having a pop-up Christmas bar until New Year’s Eve. The bar will have several nights of live music and DJ entertainment throughout December. Dec. 13-15 | See Santa in Kyle
Kyle residents will have the opportunity to see Santa as he rides through designated streets throughout the city. Residents are encouraged to visit the Santa Tracker on the city of Kyle website to watch his path around town. Dec. 15 | Donate to a toy drive
The San Marcos Christmas Market Days event hosted by Balanced Nutrition will feature vendors, food, music, holiday lights and free pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Dec. 17 | Go spelunking with Santa
Wonder World Cave and Adventure Park in San Marcos will be hosting a holiday event that will feature Santa and breakfast by local restaurant The Groove. Holiday arts and crafts and a train ride through the Wildlife Park are additional activities for those who attend. Dec. 17 | Honor fallen Veterans
Veterans will be honored at an event hosted by Wreaths Across America at the San Marcos City Cemetery. Up to 750 remembrance wreaths may be placed onto the graves of fallen veterans. Dec. 19-23, 27-30 | Keep kids active
The Boys and Girls Club of South Central Texas in San Marcos will have a Winter Break Camp for kids to attend during the winter school break. The city of Buda will host its annual Trail of Lights event in the Historic Stagecoach Park. Festivities include a visit from Santa Claus, food and a variety of illuminated displays.
