Through April 4, the Hays County Food Bank will hold its Easter Impact fundraiser, an event led by First Presbyterian Church, First Baptist Church and First United Methodist Church in San Marcos.

Easter Impact raised $56,000 last year, which led to the fundraiser becoming an annual event. Local churches have pledged $8,000 in matching funds for this year's event.

To participate, visit haysfoodbank.org/donate and choose Easter Impact under donor intent. Donations can also be mailed to 220 Herndon St., San Marcos, TX 78666.

Churches can also pledge support to the matching fund by contacting Pastor Joshua Sutherlun by email or by phone at 512-938-2484.

The Hays County Food Bank is also accepting donations of food and is looking for volunteers. Learn more on the food bank's website.
