With all precincts reporting, according to Hays County, Erin Zwiener will serve another term as state representative for District 45 with 59.18% of the vote.

With 31 of 40 precincts reporting, according to Hays County Elections, incumbent Erin Zwiener continues to widen her margin toward re-election with 58.92% of the vote. Challenger Michelle M. López sits back at 41.08%.


"I am excited to go back to the Texas Capitol to keep fighting for the people of Hays County. I think this result shows voters are looking for someone who puts the community first, works hard and tries to help the Texas Capitol focus on material issues instead of picking hyperpartisan culture wars," Zwiener told Community Impact.

Early voting results show incumbent Erin Zwiener pulling ahead of challenger Michelle M. López for the Texas House of Representatives District 45 seat.

With nearly 40% of registered Hays County voters showing up during early voting, Zwiener is ahead with 60.75% of the vote; López has garnered 39.25% of votes.


Zwiener has been at the helm of HD 45 since January 2019 and won over challengers during the March primary. López was unopposed in the March primary.
