The Hays CISD board of trustees approved two new hires at its meeting April 25.

Christina Courson, the chief of staff for Lockhart ISD, will now serve as the district’s chief of human resources. Tim Robinson, HCISD's director of talent acquisition, has been promoted to the deputy chief position. According to a press release, Courson replaces the previous HR director, who retired, and Robinson replaces the previous deputy chief, who accepted a promotion in another district.

“I am excited to welcome Christina home to Hays CISD and to welcome Tim up to the next leadership level,” HCISD Superintendent Eric Wright in a press release. “Both of our new HR leaders have the human touch that is essential in a human resources department and I am proud that they are both products of Hays CISD.”
