Topics on the survey range from student learning and support to school leadership, family involvement, safety, operations and whether the district is adequately executing its core beliefs, among other things.
Responses and feedback will be taken into account when the district determines if it is meeting its strategic goals and will help campuses with planning for the following school year, according to the email.
"Your candid feedback is essential, so survey results will not be tied to any individual participants," the announcement read.
The survey is conducted through K12 Insight, an independent technology and communication firm, that will compile and analyze the data. Once the data is compiled, the district will share the data and explain what subsequent steps will be taken.
The survey is available on the HCISD website in English and Spanish until April 25.
