The original drafts of the calendars had both school years starting on a Monday. However, after comments from the board, the school years will begin on the next day.
The 2022-23 school year will begin Aug. 16 and end May 25, 2023.
Students will be off on the following dates:
- Sept. 5 for Labor Day
- Oct. 7-10 for Indigenous Peoples' Day
- Oct. 31-Nov. 1 for Halloween
- Nov. 21-25 for Thanksgiving break
- Dec. 19-Jan. 4 for Christmas break
- Jan. 16 for Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- Feb. 20 for Presidents Day
- Mar. 13-17 for spring break
- Apr. 7 for Good Friday
Students will be off on the following dates:
- Sept. 4 for Labor Day
- Oct. 6-9 for Indigenous Peoples' Day
- Oct. 30-31 for Halloween
- Nov. 20-24 for Thanksgiving break
- Dec. 18-Jan. 3 for Christmas break
- Jan. 15 for Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- Feb. 19 for Presidents Day
- Mar. 11-15 for spring break
- Mar. 29 for Good Friday
Middle schools will be in session from 8:10 a.m.-3:35 p.m.
High schools will be in session from 8:45 a.m.-4:10 p.m.
