Incumbent candidate Anne Halsey was sworn into her new term of office during a May 17 board meeting.

Halsey garnered 1,083 votes during the May 1 election. The race was for an at-large board position on San Marcos CISD's board of trustees.

Halsey was first elected to the board in May 2015, and her term ends in 2024.

Mari Salmi also won an at-large spot on the SMCISD board of trustees, and her term ends in 2024.
