Buda City Council Member Wiley Hopkins has not filed to run for re-election in the Nov. 5 elections.

Jeffrey Morales and Terry Cummings have submitted candidate applications to be on the ballot for Single Member District C, currently served by Hopkins.

Hopkins is the mayor pro tem of the Buda City Council and was first elected March 2013 to fill an unfinished term.

No candidates have filed to run against Council Member Lee Urbanovsky, who represents an at-large seat.

The deadline to file as a write-in candidate is Aug. 23.

The last day to register to vote is Oct. 7. Early voting is scheduled Oct. 21 to Nov. 1. Election Day is Nov. 5.
