The Buzzmill officially opens today at noon at 194 S. Guadalupe St., San Marcos. The restaurant will be open 24/7, owner Jason Sabala said.

The Buzzmill's menu features a variety of meat-based and vegetarian dishes. The "Hunters" menu includes dishes, such as the Frontier Bison Burger ($13)—a 1/2-pound, grass-fed bison patty, bacon mayo, Muenster cheese and veggies on a house-made pretzel bun—and the Elk Chili Hash ($9), which is made with housemade elk chili, onions, peppers, home fries and two eggs.

The "Gatherers" menu includes vegetarian and vegan dishes, such as vegan queso ($6), which is made with cashews, spices and chipotles, and the Tempeh BLT ($8), featuring tempeh bacon, vegan shallot mayo, lettuce and tomato.
