The 2,400-acre master-planned community in Buda called Sunfield is set to get another amenity center that will feature a lazy river, a splash park, a playground and more. Scarborough Lane Development Inc. broke ground on the Lakeside Amenity Center on March 13 and anticipated its completion by the 2024 swim season.
The new amenity center will be built on 5.6 acres with the lazy river connecting to other pools, picnic pavilions, grill stations, a playground, and access to walking trails and green spaces.
“Sunfield has long been the model for how to develop resort living at an affordable price point,” Scarborough Lane Development CEO James Feagin said. “You won’t find any other community in this market with three amenity centers, two lazy rivers and the level of amenities and lifestyle in this price range. We are investing an additional $11 million in Sunfield to build this third amenity center because now more than ever, homebuyers look for communities with built-in fun and lifestyle programming. Sunfield has it all and we want to be ready for the additional families coming into our community.”
