City Manager Scott Sellers informed council during the Oct. 6 meeting that the testing is underway and provided by mobile testing company Curative.
Sellers said those wishing to get tested for COVID-19 may go to the Hays CISD Performing Arts Center, located at 979 Kohlers Crossing, where the Curative vehicle will be daily from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
The testing is open to the public, and Sellers said walk-ups are welcome, but registration is required.
Information from the city states the test consists of a painless oral swab.
