Coronavirus climbed by 142 cases in Hays County on June 15, with 869 confirmed cases overall, and 598 considered active cases. Hospitalizations held at 16 and the number of tests is as 5,859. Five residents have died due to coronavirus since March.

San Marcos had 80 of the new confirmed cases.
