Mochas & Javas announced June 9 that its San Marcos location at 102 Wonder World Drive, Ste. 406, San Marcos, will be closed temporarily after an employee who was working June 3 tested positive for the coronavirus.

According to the coffee shop, the employee contracted the virus outside of the workplace and showed no symptoms.

Mochas & Javas will reopen again at 6:30 a.m. June 12, according to a post from the coffee shop.

The temporary closure will give management the time to sanitize and secure barista team members from other stores to work at the Wonder World Drive location while team members from the affected location self-isolate and await their COVID-19 test results.

The Mochas & Javas location at 700 N. LBJ Drive, San Marcos, remains open.
