The latest numbers as of 4:15 p.m. April 8 from Hays County show 77 cases of coronavirus with 54 active cases.

Of those cases, 49 are females, including one in the age range of 9 years old or younger. There are 28 males with coronavirus. Overall, the highest number by age range is 24 between 50-59 years of age, while 15 are 30-39 years of age.

Two patients are hospitalized, and 69 are listed as community-spread.
