With Nuckles retiring, Buda City Council races remain uncontested

As none of its seats are contested, on Sept. 4 the Buda City Council voted to cancel the upcoming election for its open council seats, though City Hall will still serve as a polling location for all other races. The only change in membership to the council will be in Place 3; Council Member David Nuckles will not run for reelection. Former Kyle City Council Member Ray Bryant has filed to fill the seat. Since he is the only person to file for Place 3, Bryant will run unopposed.
