Registered voters in the city of San Marcos, San Marcos CISD and Hays CISD can cast a ballot at any early voting site within their respective districts during early voting. Early voting begins April 24 and ends May 2. Election day is May 6.
On May 6, San Marcos and SMCISD voters must cast ballots at their designated polling place, which is based on the SMCISD district in which they live. The district can be found on a voter’s registration card (see image).
On election day, a voter's polling place for the San Marcos CISD and city of San Marcos elections will be determined by the SMCISD district in which they live. That information can be found on the voter's registration card.[/caption]
Because voters in precincts 416 and 417 are located outside SMCISD, their election day polling place is determined by their precinct. Registered voters in Hays CISD who wish to cast a ballot for the bonds or trustee races can also vote at either early voting location in Hays CISD.
