The childcare center will relocate from 1501 Bunton Creek Road, Ste. 102, Kyle to 400 Uhland Road, Ste. 102 in mid-November. Kim Perez, the center’s owner and director, said plans for road construction near the daycare’s playground prompted them to search for a new location. “Flowing Through San Marcos”

The city of San Marcos held a dedication ceremony commemorating a new mural called “Flowing Through San Marcos”—which covers the back side of the shopping center at 110 E. MLK Drive—on Oct. 25. “Flowing Through San Marcos” was completed by artist Andrey Kravtsov—who works under the name Key Detail—and showcases wildflowers, Old Main, a bobcat, an egret, otter and the cascading falls of the San Marcos River.
