The coffee truck, owned by San Marcos local Krendi Harmon, sells European dark roast coffee, and specializes in Cortado Coffee—which is coffee made with espresso and steamed milk.
After living in Spain for several years and traveling throughout Europe, Harmon said she wanted to bring that "European coffee experience" to San Marcos.
"Cortado is my specialty, because that was my favorite drink when I lived in Europe," Harmon said.
Café Cortado offers a selection of hot and cold coffee beverages such as Americanos, Italian-style Macchiatos, Espresso Con Panna and more. The coffee truck also sells frappes and non-coffee drinks including matcha, chai and lemonades in five different flavors.
Harmon said she will be adding more pastries in the future, but currently offers plain and ham and cheese croissants.
"I'm happy to be here and I'm happy to support the community too," Harmon said.
