Stellar Coffee Co. will be shuttering its doors after a decade of business in the San Marcos community, the owners announced in an Instagram post. There will be a closing party from 7-11 p.m. Sept. 9 featuring an open mic night, a raffle and dancing.

"With our two littles growing more and more by the day, we feel the need to devote all our time and energy into our family in this next coming season," the Instagram post reads. "It has been a privilege to have served the San Marcos community and we will remember it for years to come.

The business, formerly known as Stellar Cafe, originally opened in early 2013; in 2019, it relocated into its current space.
