Crunch Fitness will open a new location at 450 Barnes Drive, San Marcos. The gym will be equipped with cardio machines, such as treadmills, ellipticals and stairmasters. Crunch Fitness will also have a free weights area, strength training machines, cable machines and more. The gym will also offer group fitness classes, including “Absolution,” which focuses on core work, and “Acceleratehiit,” which focuses on high-intensity interval training. A new location of Ghostletics Gym is expected to open March 18 at 1151 Bunton Creek Road, Ste. 201, Kyle. The gym will be an open warehouse-style community gym open 24 hours a day; there will only be staff on-site from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Memberships vary with month-to-month and annual options as well as day passes. Ghostletics Gym will not only have traditional gym equipment throughout, but will also offer other services, such as boot camps and personal training. Ghostletics Gym owner Kevin Xavier is a sports therapist who offers rehabilitative and therapeutic recover services.
