In an effort to help families in Hays County who are food insecure, and also support local restaurants suffering from the pandemic, restaurateur Steve Swindell and the Kyle Area Chamber of Commerce have created Meals 4-One and All.

Meals 4-One and All is a program that promotes area restaurants while donating free meals to families in the county who are in need.

For every four entrees sold in participating restaurants, one meal is donated to organizations that provide food and services to families in need, including the Hays County Food Bank, San Marcos Youth Council and the
Hays CISD Hope2Go program, according to a press release sent by Meals 4-One and All.

Within
one week of launching the program, Meals 4-One and All has provided over 1,000 free meals in the county. The program started with 14 restaurants in Kyle and San Marcos; for a full list of participating restaurants, click here. Team members of the program hope to expand Meals 4-One and All to Austin and San Antonio.

Restaurants or communities who want to participate in the program can sign up here.
