Overview
The Deep Wood Drive extension project will connect Round Rock Avenue to Sam Bass Road. Design, utility work and right-of-way acquisition is expected to take approximately 20 months, with construction anticipated to begin in late 2027, according to a news release. However, the city will offer opportunities for public involvement and more information will be shared as plans progress.
The road, which will extend across Brushy Creek, will include four divided lanes, while the city will coordinate with Williamson County for a possible connection to the Brushy Creek Regional Trail system. City Council approved an $831,222 engineering services agreement with Halff Associates Inc.
