The city of Round Rock began road construction between East Austin Avenue and North Sheppard Street on April 8. The public works project may impact access to Round Rock Public Library's parking garage, according to a city news release.
What residents should know
The work, which will replace storm water doors behind the library, will cause road closures and detours, including on East Austin Avenue. Drivers should plan alternate routes while access to both streets is limited, according to the city.
Residents and visitors can still access the library parking garage from North Sheppard Street. Round Rock expects construction to wrap up "as quickly as possible to minimize disruptions," the news release states.
