Roads near Old Settlers Park will have ongoing closures during the park’s renovation.

Closures of park areas, interior roads and trails began in September with initial work commencing at the Joanne Land Playground.

What residents need to know

Part of Harrell Parkway is currently closed from the tennis complex and apex fields to the cricket field. There is a work zone within this area that does not allow entry.

In order to reach the Multipurpose Field Complex, visitors will enter from North Kenney Fort Boulevard. To visit the baseball and softball fields, tennis complex, apex fields and Yonders Point, visitors will use Old Settlers Boulevard or North Red Bud Lane. For access to the soccer fields, cricket field, disc golf, and Rabb Pavilion and Playground, visitors should enter from Hwy. 79 and Harrell Parkway.
