Traffic signal work and multiple lane closures are scheduled throughout the city of Round Rock Feb. 22-25 to facilitate work on various transportation projects. Here are the locations and dates for scheduled projects during this time frame.

Monadale Trail lane closure

Located in the South Creek subdivision, Monadale Trail's northbound lane will be closed to traffic for street maintenance work Feb. 22-25. Minor delays are expected, according to the city.

North Mays Street lane closure

A portion of the southbound outside lane from the intersection of North Mays Street and Oakmont Lane to approximately 400 feet north of Oakmont Drive will be closed Feb. 22-24 to facilitate the relocation of an existing curb in anticipation of the future right-turn lane to Oakmont Drive, according to the city. Minimal delays are expected.


Gattis School Road at Magnolia Drive lane closure

From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 23, eastbound traffic on Gattis School Road at Magnolia Drive will be detoured to facilitate the removal of a tree. This will also impact the eastbound detour to Success High School from Dixie Lane to Surrey Drive, according to the city. Delays are expected.

Traffic signal work at I-35 and University, Palm Valley boulevards

Traffic signals will be dark at the intersections of I-35 and University and Palm Valley boulevards from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m Feb. 23, according to the city. A traffic control plan will be in place, but minor delays will be expected.
