Round Rock drivers may experience some traffic delays on Hwy. 79 on Sept. 15 and 16 as city crews work to perform traffic signal work at four intersections along the thoroughfare.

The intersections of Red Bud Lane, Egger Avenue, Sunrise Road and Georgetown Street will be undergoing maintenance work with the Round Rock Police Department providing traffic direction in some cases, according to the city.

The Red Bud intersection will have dark traffic signals from 9-10 a.m., and the one at Egger will be dark from 10-10:45 a.m. with traffic direction from RRPD.

Sunrise and Hwy. 79 will have temporary lane closures for road work, as will the intersection at Georgetown. Signal heads will be replaced at these intersections by city crews, and a flashing yellow arrow will be implemented.
