Dallas-based homebuilder Landsea Homes began construction on a townhome development in northeast Round Rock on Sept. 19.

Located in the Avery Centre development, a mixed-use planned community set to occupy 1,200 acres near A.W. Grimes Boulevard, the development will bring 75 townhomes to the area. The three- and four-bedroom townhomes are planned to be between 1,600 and 1,900 square feet in size each.

While prices have not yet been set, a representative for the homebuilder said sales on the units are expected to begin later this year.
