New businesses are continuing to open in Round Rock, Pflugerville and Hutto, including new restaurants, salons, food trucks and health care clinics. The following list details of businesses now open or coming soon to the area.

NOW OPEN:

Lush Nail Bar opened during the first week of November at 18841 FM 685, Ste. 120, Pflugerville. The specialized nail and spa boutique offers an array of beauty services, including manicures, pedicures and eyebrow waxing. 512-305-3535

Visionworks opened Nov. 5 at 18841 FM 685, Pflugerville. With over 700 retail locations nationwide, Visionworks offers eye exams and sells a variety of prescription eyewear, including glasses, sunglasses and contact lenses. 737-910-0104. www.visionworks.com

The formerly Hutto-based food truck Ambur Fire relocated to Eli's Produce Market at 5430 Hwy. 79, Round Rock, on Sept. 1. The food truck, which had its first home in the parking lot of Christian Brothers Automotive, serves its specialty smash burgers, mushroom Swiss burgers and patty melts every day with its barbecue menu reserved for Saturdays. 512-800-2984


Heritage Lakes Senior Living Community officially opened Nov. 4 at 19005 Pleasant Bay Drive, Pflugerville. Heritage Lakes offers a number of options for seniors, including assisted living, memory care, independent living and cottages. COMING SOON:

Martin Nelson Endodontic plans to open a new endodontic office at 106 Taylor St., Hutto. The office is expected to open in summer 2022, according to Martin Nelson Endodontic representative Rodrigo Reyes. Endodontists are dental care providers who specialize in treating root canals. Martin Nelson Endodontic has five other locations across the Central Texas area, including two in Cedar Park, one in Georgetown, one in Pflugerville and one in Austin. 512-275-4222. www.martinendodontics.com

Whiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar confirmed a new location is coming to the former Mellow Mushroom location at 2600 N. I-35, Round Rock, in late spring 2022. Whiskey Cake serves a menu of appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts alongside drinks, including wine, beer, signature cocktails and whiskey flights. Items such as biscuits, chicken and waffle plates, French toast, eggs, and cocktails are also available during weekend brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.

Luis Marquez Studio will open at 3750 Limmer Loop, Ste. A, Hutto, in February. Owner Luis Marquez said he handcrafts custom furniture that includes tables, mirrors and lamps. His most popular items are candleholders, he said, and he has been making furniture and other items for homes for 20 years. JJ's Wok, a new dine-in Chinese restaurant, is coming to Pflugerville next year. The restaurant will be located in the H-E-B shopping center at 1420 Wells Branch Parkway, Unit 280, Pflugerville. Owner Shentong Ji said he expects to open JJ's Wok in March.
