Located at 2400 Round Rock Ave., the expansion brings the total number of beds in the hospital's emergency room to 34, adding 1,200 square feet to the space. New beds were available for patient use shortly after the opening.
These additional beds are part of an ongoing $53.1 million expansion to the hospital that began in November. Once completed, the hospital will have over 200 beds, 11 operating rooms and space for two additional rooms in the future. With growth driving the expansion, the hospital will also hire more than 60 new employees over the next two years.
