Round Rock ISD will host a COVID-19 vaccine clinic at the Raymond E. Hartfield Performing Arts Center on Sept. 13 from 4-8 p.m.

The clinic can provide vaccine doses for those 12 years old and up who have not received their first COVID-19 vaccine, those who received their first shot at the clinic previously held on Aug. 16, and those who qualify for third "booster" doses.

To be eligible for a third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, individuals must meet certain criteria outlined by Austin Public Health. These individuals include cancer patients, those who have received organ transplants and are taking medication to suppress their immune system, those with moderate or severe immunodeficiency, or those with any other listed conditions.

While it is not required, the district is asking that interested individuals submit a short interest form to give APH an idea of how many vaccines will be needed. Submitting this form is not required to receive the vaccine.

Consent forms may be filled out ahead of time or at the clinic. They are available on the RRISD's website. Those over the age of 18 may sign their own consent forms, but minors must have their forms signed by a parent or guardian, and an adult must be present at the time of the vaccine.
