Round Rock residents can utilize Operation Front Porch for secure package pick up, Nov. 11-Dec. 20.

About the program

Operation Front Porch is a free program to help prevent package theft by allowing residents to ship items to the Round Rock Police Department at 2701 North Mays Street in Round Rock. Pick up is available 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday, and 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., while the program is running.

What residents should know

This program is only available for residents. Packages must be under 50 pounds, and the person picking up the package must have their name on the mailing label.



For any order pickups from sites like Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace, residents can use the Safety Exchange Zones in the RRPD lobby and public parking lot.
