Representing Texas House District 52, which covers much of Williamson County, Harris Davila is a Round Rock native, and said she is proud to represent her hometown at the capitol.
"I still can't believe I get to serve my hometown," Harris Davila said. "I get to represent my parents, my grandparents, some of my siblings, some of whom were here earlier. It's really just a privilege to get to serve House District 52."
Elected in 2023, Harris Davila sponsored a medical bill transparency law, Senate Bill 490, requiring hospitals, doctors and other health care providers to provide an itemized bill to patients after each visit, which went into effect Sept. 1, 2023.
