Round Rock Juneteenth Festival
The Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department, The Voice Inc., and the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Omicron Nu Nu Chapter will host the city’s 19th annual Juneteenth Festival. The event will feature a concert, food vendors and family activities. The first day of the festival will include a barbecue cookoff and music by Keith Frank and Dat Boy Play. The second day of the event will feature performances by Melanie Fiona, Kid Capri, Sean Ardoin and Dat Boy Play.

This year’s Juneteenth festival will feature food and vendors directly following the annual parade. The music lineup includes performances by Young Guy, Jason Greensocks and J Soulja. The city of Austin will hand out reusable water bottles as well as information on reducing waste.

The Peterson Brothers will perform in downtown Pflugerville to celebrate Juneteenth. Food vendors will be available and families are invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets for a night of entertainment.

Travis County will host its annual Juneteenth celebration, with this year’s theme “Still We Rise. Celebrating the Journey with Power and Purpose.” Food vendors, informational booths, music and games will be on hand.

The Juneteenth festival will feature live music, line dancing, horse rides and a variety of food vendors. The event will pay homage to figures such as Stagecoach Mary, Adam Orgain, Bill Picket and Bass Reeves.
