La Maleta de Maebelle (Mabelle’s Suitcase)

Penfold Theatre Company will produce a bilingual adaptation of the “Reading Rainbow” picture book, “La Maleta de Maebelle.” The show will feature a two-person cast, various styles of puppetry, environmental themes and Colombian music.

Earth Day

The city of Round Rock will host its annual Earth Day event, aimed at providing environmental education and giving residents a chance to help clean up their community. The event at Memorial Park will include a range of activities and attendees will get a chance to mulch, plant greenery and clean up around the lake.Hutto’s Annual Crawfish Festival

The Hutto Area Chamber of Commerce will host its annual crawfish festival in the downtown area. The festival will have vendors, live music, family friendly entertainment, crawfish and a variety of other food.Play For All Special Needs Easter Egg Hunt


The Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department will host its annual Easter egg hunt for children with disabilities or limitations at the Play for All Abilities Park. Siblings are also welcome to participate in the hunt. Preregistration for the event is required, as space is limited.Rock of All Ages

Young musicians of all genres will come together in downtown Pflugerville to showcase their talents. The event at The Best Little Plaza in Texas will feature up-and-coming rock, pop, jazz and classical musicians. It will also feature activities such as rock climbing and rock painting, and local food vendors will be on site.Learn to Fish

Williamson County is inviting children of all ages to the Southwest Williamson County Regional Park for its annual Learn to Fish event. Local experts will be on hand to guide young anglers, provide fishing tips and teach different techniques. Fishing poles and tackle will be provided. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing, a hat and closed-toe shoes.Flashlight Egg Hunt

The city of Round Rock is inviting residents to participate in the annual Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt at Old Settlers Park, where participants will bring a flashlight and basket to find eggs, candy and prizes. The city of Pflugerville will have its annual festival celebrating the various cultures that make up the Pflugerville community. The event will feature live music with Grammy Award-nominated band Spin Doctors headlining, as well as food, games, art vendors and more.

Un-Birthday Party

Round Rock’s Parks and Recreation Department will host its 7th Annual UN-Birthday Party at the Play for All Abilities Park. Because everyone has one birthday per year, the event is a chance for individuals with disabilities and their families to celebrate their 364 “UN-Birthdays” together. The park will be closed to the public during the party, providing access to all the park has to offer.
