The Round Rock Arts Fest, previously known as Chalk Walk, will take place this weekend, Oct. 4-6.

The overview

The three-day arts festival will feature over 100 vendors, visual artists, live music and other art displays. The event is free to the public and will be held at Centennial Plaza, located at 301 W. Bagdad Ave. in downtown Round Rock.

Hours for the festival are:
  • Friday, Oct. 4: 5-9 p.m.
  • Saturday, Oct. 5: 10 a.m.-9 p.m.
  • Sunday, Oct. 6: 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
The details

The event will feature four stages, where live music, dance, martial arts demonstrations and more entertainment will take place.




Meanwhile, attendees will be able to shop locally from various art vendors set up as well as visit interactive areas to make art and music themselves. Chalk artists can also register to create art on an Ampersand panel provided to them along with a 48-color hard pastel set.

Along with a variety of food and drink options, the city has partnered with Bluebonnet Beer Company to include the brewery’s 9th Annual Oktoberfest. The brewery will served its German-style beers under an Oktoberfest-themed beer tent.
