Spirit Halloween
The store sells costumes, decorations and other spooky merchandise and will remain open until Nov. 2. After Oct. 31, the store will begin discounting merchandise, according to a store representative.
Rush Bowls
The shop’s menu includes a variety of smoothie bowls, with toppings such as fresh fruit, granola and shredded coconut. It also offers blended smoothies, refresher-style beverages called revivers, cold-brewed coffee, and grab-and-go bites.
Polished Smiles of Round Rock
Patients at the practice will be seen by Drs. Daniel Im and Laura Maxey, who provide a full range of oral health services, including general, restorative, cosmetic and emergency dentistry.
Silo Eyecare
The office provides eye exams, contact lens examinations and fittings, and medical eye care as well as a curated selection of eyeglasses and sunglasses. It is owned and operated by Dr. Ashish Patel.
Once Upon a Child
The store opened for a buying period, during which it purchases gently used goods from community members. Following this period, the store will open for retail sales, according to the business. The Round Rock location is locally owned by Jim and Karly English, who also own the southwest Austin location.
Cheetah Crew Homeschool Athletics
Locally owned by Corey and Mandy Maxon, the homeschool physical education and athletics program offers weekly classes to develop students' fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, confidence, character and fundamental athletic skills. The program is held on Fridays at the Round Rock Sports Center.

Cottonwood Creek Taproom
An extension of Hutto-based Cottonwood Creek Brewery, the taproom will have new and familiar brews. It is locally owned by Bobby Delmonico.
IV Nutrition
The business will offer therapeutic injections for hydration, performance and recovery, seasonal wellness and immune support, beauty-related wellness, energy and vitality, and weight management.
What’s next?
Firehouse Animal Health Center
A $1.15 million project will renovate an existing retail space for a vet clinic. Construction will occur from November through May. With existing Central Texas locations, including one in Round Rock, the clinic offers wellness and preventive pet care, diagnostic services and compassionate end-of-life treatment as well as exotic pet services.
LaundroLab
This project involves the demolition of the interior of a former restaurant space to build a laundromat. The $1.5 million renovation is set to begin in early November and last through early May.
AT&T
The phone service provider carried out a $117,000 interior renovation of one of its Round Rock stores in September.
Relocations
Cosmic Egg Wellness
The business will reopen in a new location in the Creekside Plaza retail center. Locally owned by Carolyn Lane, it offers prenatal and postpartum doula services, classes, and yoga. The business was previously located in downtown Round Rock at 106 Harris St., Ste. 100.
Epic Marks
The custom printing and transfer shop, which is locally owned by Joseph McGranahan, will reopen near Sam Bass Road after a relocating from 418 Chisholm Valley Drive, Round Rock.
In the news
Alcove
The bar and restaurant formerly known as Sociedad rebranded to its original name in late September, owner Michelle Ly confirmed. Along with the rebranding, Ly and co-owner Erik Hall also opened an expanded venue space Sept. 25 called The Fair.
Illuminate Montessori
Previously known as Guidepost Montessori, the schools rebranded in September. This happened after their parent company, GGE, filed for bankruptcy in 2025. TNC Schools acquired 18 locations and had plans to rebrand the schools, but they were contractually required to continue using the Guidepost name for a number of months.
Salt Traders Coastal Cooking
The restaurant celebrated its 10th anniversary in September. Its menu includes a variety of seafood dishes such as a raw bar with oysters, crudo and nigiri.
Studio 16:19
The planning, irrigation design, landscape architecture, branding and signage services firm founded by Brent and Angela Baker celebrated 15 years of operation in August.
Shipley Donuts
America’s longest-standing doughnut chain is celebrating its 90th anniversary. The business has a special promotion, which runs until Oct. 18, that includes various value deals and limited-time birthday-themed doughnut.
Worth the trip
COTALAND
Located at Circuit of the Americas, the theme park takes the venue beyond racing. The roughly 30-acre park features 33 attractions, ranging from extreme-thrill coasters to children’s rides and family-friendly attractions.

The Picklr
The business's owners chose not to renew their lease at the Round Rock Crossing retail center. Operations were consolidated to the Austin West and Oak Hill locations, per a Facebook post. The business opened in January 2025 and operated in Round Rock for just over a year and a half.
